At Newport Center UMC, we believe in serving the world around us. We support our missionaries, local community organizations (including The Friendly Center of Orange and the Laguna Resource Center), and international organizations through financial donations, gifts in kind, and volunteering.

Get Involved

There are many opportunities throughout the year for you to get involved. If you prefer to give support through donations (whether they be financial or gifts in kind), or if you prefer to serve in a hands-on approach, we want your participation! Please watch for announcements here or in our Sunday bulletin for mission team activities.

Become a Committee Member

Do you have an interest in being part of the team that identifies missions opportunities? If so, consider becoming a committee member. We meet every other month for 45 minutes after the 10 a.m. Sunday service. Contact the church office for more information.
