women's ministry, newport center united methodist church

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." -Hebrews 10:25

The women at Newport Center UMC seek to connect with each other through regular events and meetings, cultivating relationships and growing with one another spiritually.

From monthly luncheons to weekly bible studies, there are plenty of ways for you to connect with other women at Newport Center United Methodist Church. We hope you will deepen your relationships with other NCUMC women at one or all of our events! Keep an eye out for details on the latest events in our weekly bulletin or check out our online calendar. If you have questions regarding any of our listed events, please contact our church office at 949-644-0745 or email us at church@newportcenterumc.org.

Check out our opportunities for connection listed below.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

We currently have a group of women that meet every Thursday morning at the church for Bible Study. If you are interested in participating on Thursdays or on a different day, please contact Kathy Mohr at 949-640-6165. More groups are starting up, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with other women on a deeper level!

MONTHLY LADIES’ LUNCHEONS

Women of all ages meet once a month for lunch, fun and fellowship. We usually meet in the Fireside Room on the second Tuesday of the month at 11:30 a.m., but check the church calendar for the next scheduled luncheon.

WOMEN’S BOOK CLUB

Each month our Women’s Book Club picks one book to read and meets to discuss it on the third Monday of the month, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Locations change each month, so please contact Joaline Stedman at 949-721-9260 if you are interested in participating, or keep an eye out for announcements in the weekly bulletin. Some of the books that have been read in the past include The Women, The Shack, My Life in France, Dreams of my Father and Loving Frank.
