"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." -Hebrews 10:25
The women at Newport Center UMC seek to connect with each other through regular events and meetings, cultivating relationships and growing with one another spiritually.
From monthly luncheons to weekly bible studies, there are plenty of ways for you to connect with other women at Newport Center United Methodist Church. We hope you will deepen your relationships with other NCUMC women at one or all of our events! Keep an eye out for details on the latest events in our weekly bulletin or check out our online calendar. If you have questions regarding any of our listed events, please contact our church office at 949-644-0745 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Check out our opportunities for connection listed below.
- Monthly Women's Luncheons: Women of all ages meet once a month for lunch, fun and fellowship. We usually meet in the Fireside Room on the third Tuesday of the month at 11:30 a.m., but check the church calendar for the next scheduled luncheon.
- Ladies' Book Club: Each month our Women’s Book Club picks one book to read and meets to discuss it on the third Monday of the month, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Locations change each month, so please contact Joaline Stedman at 949-721-9260 if you are interested in participating, or keep an eye out for announcements in the weekly bulletin. Some of the books that have been read in the past include The Women, The Shack, My Life in France, Dreams of my Father and Loving Frank.
