connection groups

Connection groups are a great way to build close relationships with others in your church community, gain a support system, and strengthen your relationship with God. If you're ready to take the next step at Newport Center UMC and become a part of a connection group, please contact our church office (church@newportcenterumc.org).

Each spring and fall our Small Group Ministry team puts together an all-church study, where connection groups are formed. These events usually happen on Wednesday evenings and include the opportunity to have dinner with the other participants. It is a great time to get plugged in, get to know new people, and form connections. Keep an eye out on our calendar and in our Sunday bulletin for when these seasonal studies are happening.
