"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."
-Proverbs 22:6
At Newport Center UMC, we believe in raising up children as disciples (Proverbs 22:6). Through Sunday morning learning, mid-week studies for our 3rd-6th graders, Vacation Bible School, and summer camp, we hope that God will be revealed to each child that attends Newport Center UMC. See the opportunities we offer for children at Newport Center UMC below.

Our Children's Program at Newport Center UMC offers Sunday morning nursery care for infants and Sunday School for toddlers - elementary age.
We offer the following programs at the 10 a.m. Sunday morning service:
NURSERY CARE: Our nursery is located at the south end of the building; there are signs to help direct you. Feel free to ask an usher for help in locating it.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: After the children’s sermon, the children will be dismissed for Sunday School (Toddlers-Elementary age). If this is your child’s first time, please accompany them to the church patio (follow the crowd) to meet their teacher. After the service, please pick your child up in their classroom (Toddlers: Room 1, Preschool: Room 2, Pre-K & Kindergarten: Room 3, Elementary: Room 6).
If you have any questions or concerns, please ask the ushers to point you to the Children’s Ministry table in the narthex, where a staff member or volunteer will be available to answer your questions.

34-56 Club is for all 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th graders.
We learn about God together and build relationships through weekly meetings and special "epic" events throughout the year!
