Wednesday night Epiphany class

Join us for this 6-week Epiphany class led by Rev. Jerry Larsen.

January 11 - February 15
Wednesday nights
6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

WHAT IS EPIPHANY?

EPIPHANY IS GOD’S SEASON OF SURPRISE.

The term Epiphany means “to show” or “to make known,” or even “to reveal.” The season of Epiphany is a time to remember the many ways the coming of Jesus was witnessed by the Wise Men, Jesus’ dedication, the first miracle at the wedding at Cana, the healing of a paralyzed man, and the calling of the disciples; all culminating with the “Transfiguration.”

Epiphany is a teaching tool in the church. We learn that the Wise Men, the shepherds, the sick people, even the disciples had to have their eyes opened; even King Herod realized who the Christ Child was.
